Thanks, guys... I checked the drain on the fresh air intake and it looks good. The sunroof sounds like a good one to check before I put the carpet back down. I read somewhere that the sunroof drain comes out by the B-piller? Is this correct?

I would definitely check the sunroof drain tubes. I seen a few with cracked tube ends at the sunroof tray, causing water to spill out of the tray, onto the headliner and down the pillar trims into the carpet.

The front sunroof drain goes down the A pillar. For me, my drain hose was disconneted and not clogged.

Sunroof drains are good, as are the A/C drains. I dried out everything and have the passenger seat and trim re-assembled but am not positive I found the source of the leak. But at least the truck has lost that wet-dog smell for now. Just planning to keep a close eye on it for now and check it closely after car washes / rains to see if anything re-occurs. Let you know if I find anything else.

Thanks for all of the advice.

Could swear I saw something on here about leaking windshield molding/seals causing this. I have had issues with the sunroofs leaking. Turns out the drains are on the front of the sunroof trays andNOT on all four corners (front and rear.) So this is why if I know the Rover is sitting in a heavy rain, I park with the vehicle pointing down-hill. Alot of the sunroofs have distorted and caused the seal beteen the sunroof assy and the roof to not seal properly. The best repair for this is to replace the entire sunroof assy, not cheap. Best bet: make sure the sunroof seals are not plugged and if you still have a leak get the windshield seal looked at.

As already mentioned, the front sunroof drains go down the A-pillar. The rear sunroof drains go down the D-pillar AKA: the pillar with the brake lights in it.

Best of luck,
David

How about where the roof rack meets the roof.Maybe that seal has compromised.
