Water pump gasket replacement

Default Water pump gasket replacement
So I am going to change my water pump gasket as I believe it is failing when my coolant is hot. My question is that should I just change the water pump too while I'm in there? Or should I not bother if it is still working fine? I believe it is the original one still on there.

If it is original, at your mileage, yes, I would replace the pump and cover your tracks.
