Default Water Seeping Driver Side

Hey Folks ,

Still an ongoing issue with water entering my beloved 2004 D2 on the driver side. Now it impossible for it to be the windscreen as the water would have to travel up to that point & that’s impossible.

Now the 1st image shows where I see the water and once it’s disturbed the water trickles down.

Hopefully a member(s) can shed some light on this.

The roof lining has been removed over 6 months ago to help locate the water entering the Disco but have had no success in finding it.

Default Images showing water ingress

The Emoji’s show where the water sits and when I disturbed it you can see where the water trickles too

This is the driver side looking up to the roof bar bolt.

Another angle and as you can see the windscreen is way to low and water would have to travel up to that point.

That’s where the water seeps from

Looks like a roof rack problem to me. The seal is probably shot.

if it just on the corner I would look to sealing the roof gutter, for me the complete sunroof seal had gone and I could move the sunroof side to side front to rear, so I removed it totally ans cleaned it all up then resealed it fully on the outside,as well as removing the top bars and resealing them as well , after all like you I had my headliner out so that was recovered before reinstalling back in the car

Thanks for all the advice so far , the windscreen was replaced last year & is definitely been sealed correctly , so that eliminates that.

Sunroofs were resealed about 3 years ago & with the roof lining removed no water marks or visible water seen around those areas.

Roof bars I need to tackle but I had these changed last year for the G4 and looking at the rubber seals around the bars they looked ok.

I’ve attached an image of where the water sits roughly from the outside to give an indication.

Where the water sits roughly on the inside of the vehicle.
