Default Weel spacers

I know this has been talked to death. I am wondering what good it would do to add 1 inch or 1.5 inch spacers to my oem 18inch

rims that I am running bigger tires on. I have a 1 inch lift. Nothing is rubbing I do no off roading at all. Is it just for looks or does it make the disco2 more stable. I have ace and keep the disco in mint shape. Bought it knew. Has 275K on it. I keep reading they are not safe. Just to mention we do have spacers on our Maserati QP and they cause no issue and that's with 600hp but a lighter auto. Thanks for the advice in advance.

Thank You,
Joe

I honestly dont quite understand the build of this D2 and the accompanying comment of "I do no off roading at all"

Aside from that, I think it looks great and personally would see no need for spacers on this truck - just my .02
