which weight oil should I use?

And also, do I need to do anything to switch from a full synthetic 5W-30 to the traditional Rotella 15W-40? Or do I just drain and replace?

You need to perform the special ceremony. Not doing so will anger the oil gods.

Also, be sure to top off the blinker fluid before you start.

Why wouldn't you just buy Rotella T5 which has been blended for you?

I don't know much about Rotella. Does the T5 come in 10W-40?
