Welp, it finally happened; stolen cat
Well it was really a matter of time living in CA before my cat was stolen. Started up the truck today to get some dinner and was greeted with the sweet sound of open headers LOL. Anyone have luck hitting up a boneyard like pick-n-pull to get a replacement? Bit of a bummer because I just welded up the exhaust leaks on the current pipe and some degenerates put me back to square zero. Partner isn't too happy having our second car on the street now but not much can be done about that until we find a home to buy that we like. Trying to replace the cat without spending an arm and leg because it'll probably happen again with how easy it is to slide under the disco.

CA Compliant Cats
The most affordable one (all warrentied 50k/5year at min) goes by AP 910004R now. Unfortunatly they have gone up in price.

Thanks @hasullivan. I was planning to search up that thread and find one. I was hoping to sort out the situation by getting a magnaflow y-pipe but they seem OOS everywhere. Likely will just pick that up and weld it in once it arrives.

Autozone has them for $402.99 each but have a discount code for 20% off BEATTHEHEAT. They come in at $322.39 each with Free Shipping. Not bad for 50 state.

What a nightmare. Sorry you're going through this :/
Some of the universal cats seem to have clearance issues, like where one side's heat shield is making actual contact with the frame. That can't be good long-term. Kind of absurd that you can't get CA compliant OE cats.

If its a generic autoparts store I would go in person if you can. CA has a lot of wierd import regs. Personal and corperate orders have different limitations on them. The ebay loophole may work, although ebay started clamping down on californias behest 3-4 years back.
If a new reg went into effect in 2022 you can always hit up a border trip.
