I found that spraying Odo Ban really helps the mildew from forming even if things are not fully dry ...

I don't understand how that much water got in... I've gone through some deep water (halfway up the doors) and never had an issue, and my gaskets are the original ones

Did you get stuck IN the swamp?

I never have any problems either, this is yet another reason DI's are better than DII's.

yes it was IN the swamp. dont ask. and the seals were torn from climbing in and out in my army boots all the time (i looked AFTER the swamp - dumb i know but oh well...)
i will fix the seals before the PRESIDENTS DAY WEEKEND RALLY (ALL ARE INVITED)! but we do do a LOT of water crossings and general swamp/mud hole playing.

as for the picture if i hadnt gotten hung up on the log (ask fred s.) i would have made it across the swamp crossing - btw i was the ONLY one willing to attempt the crossing - GO ROVERS!

btw at one point the water was up to the spare tire - idk how deep that is but i climbed out my drivers window and crawled on the roof to drop in and hook up the winch cable to my shakle mounted on the reese hitch.

When's President's day? Sounds like it should be another good time. I think I better fix my driver door seal before then.

How do your Army boots mess up the door seals? I wear snow boots to work and have no problems with my door seals.
Do you shut the door on your feet or something?

He's obviously sticking his foot out the door trying to help push. Probably why he keeps getting stuck.
