3D LED MAG LITE, 2AA LED MAG LITE, SWISS CHAMP KNIFE. That's really all I need for now.

Bottle of Jagermeister. It gets you all the help needed when necessary!

I am looking at a SPOT though for big trips. Check out this link: SPOT

It's cool for those who stay at home, it's cool for when you get home yourself, and it's cool for when you need rescue, anywhere...

Jumper cables, tie downs, small set of general tools, water, dog supplies, tow ropes, 1 million candlelight spot, roadside emergency kit, power inverter, laptop with broadband connection.

Since I am terrible about cleaning out my truck, I have most of what is posted above, along with various parts that I am intending to get to....

I choose my weapon based on what I expect to encounter. For target shooting or trouble of the 2 legged variety, I carry my Smith & Wesson M&P40. For areas where I can expect to encounter not so friendly animals, I carry my Glock 20 10mm Auto. Both pistols have at least 2 extra mags at all times and are locked and loaded. An unloaded pistol is useless.

nothing.

My Defender gets the gear. I highly doubt the disco will leave cell phone range or more than a dirt road ever.

As I was letting my truck warm up before I left work I looked in the back seat, I also have a car seat and a stuffed penguin.
