Default What could it be?

Hello All!

So, I picked up an 01 Disco II SE at auction. If I try to start the flashers come on and the truck womt turn over. I have already tried the inertia switch, has a new battery. Key fob is broken, inside door lock button doesnt do anything, fuel door wont open and my key will not turn at the driver door. What on earth could be going on? Thanks everyone.

Well that was easy. It ended up being a the alarm. Whoever had it before took out the horn fuse, so it was setting off the alarm. O was able to use a screwdriver and press one of the buttons and it deacrivated the alarm and bam it started.

Yeah, savor the moment...since it will probably be your last gimme. Your next issue will probably accelerate gray hair and old age. See, that's the beauty of getting into these things late in life...like l did...since most likely...you already have gray hair and old...so you have nothing to lose...lol.

Glad you found your issue and are up and running.

Brian.

i have a couple of gray hairs sneaking in but only 30 years old. Feel old because 5 kids will do that.
