I'm looking at a 2001 White DII LE-7 package and I'm curious what exactly makes it so special that I cannot find anything online about LE-7's?

I cant say off the top of my head and I to had a hard time finding anything via google. What I do know is that when then D2 was first introduced it had different trim level badges that were eventually changed. SD, and LE were the only two if Im not mistaken. If the truck was fitted with 7 seats than a 7 was added to the badge and the vehicle was most likely fitted with rear air suspension as well as rear air vents, rear audio controls etc. Later the badges were changed to S, SE, HSE and 7 if fitted with 7 seats. Honestly though the options available for the Discovery 2 are well known. Unless you are specifically looking for certain features than I would not worry about it.

I think LE is low level trim. But could be wrong. 7 is seven seats.
Look for things like ace, air suspension (and then decided if that's a good thing or not) and the upgraded stereo (extra tweeters on the columns and base speaker in the door). Wheel arches and heated seats also come to mind.
Still wishing for those damn cupholders on mine…

 

There wasn't an LE trim. In 2001, it's either SD, SE, or HSE. The 7 denotes 7 passenger.

 

Well. The carfax says 2001, discovery, LE7. And the vehicle has le7 badges. It's super clean. And the lowest trim is the SD. I specifically know that much at least.

 

Also it's got very unique dark brown leather with cloth center and butt. It's got all the same speakers and stereo as my SE. It's also got the 5 spoke dark metal gray rims you see if you Google 2001 disco le7

 

I know it's got the 7 seats I'm familiar there. It also has SLS and AC front and rear. It also has the stock roof rack, latter, bumper, bumper lights and roof rack lights. It's SERIOUSLY clean. Gonna try and pick it up. Just wanted to see if anyone here knew more about the LE7
