Crazy right? That's what mine looked like when I picked it up a couple years ago(arizona truck)

Not anymore...

Also, Dusty, why haven't you removed the line bracket on the springs? Nervous?

Yep not even the slightest hint of rust and I carry a rattle can under it every time I need to crawl under there.
Gotta leave those brackets to mount all those colorful ghetto fabulous led "look at me" lights

Dropped a set of 5 wheels off at the powder coater...
Ordered a set of ToddCo 2" Rear SLS spacers...
Ordered Old Man Emu 2" lift front heavy duty springs...
Ordered Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Shocks and Steering Stabilizer...

I got mine back from the shop.. New oil pump, water pump, timing chain, main bearings, main seal front and rear, flex plate and a whole bunch of other little stuff. Runs like a new girl though.

Rained a little today, tried using my wipers to just clear the windshield, and they made it worse. I didn't want to buy new wiper blades from the interweb, so I went to AutoZone and bought some Bosch 21'' Blades and swapped the rubber pieces onto my the LR frames. Took 15 minutes and some finesse, but they work great.

Lot of work going on in prep for the winter romp, first step was putting proper tires on for the event. 285/75r16 duratracs

stopped at a junk store/ salvage yard. while waiting for pieces for some of my work turds, I made a decent deal on some disco pieces
ace/ps resevoir and hoses
4 rear fog and 1 cruise switches
abs modulator
ace valve block and hard lines
1/2 shaft with cv, hub and sensor
for $75
