Get some PB Blaster, or other penetrating lubricant and soak everything down the day before you intend to do the work...

I just did this yesterday with an OME kit and it's pretty simple. I did the front end completely by myself in an hour and a half. Granted, I have a lift and a nice well lit workshop to work in, but it's really not that difficult.

Using the factory bottle jack between the top of the axle and frame on each side to gain additional clearance to avoid having to use a spring compressor helps simplify the job...

Confirmed that my winch was shot, started browsing for a new one.

Drowned my sorrows by grabbing a pack of beer and watchig the last half of the Daytona 500, which is something because I'm an F1 fan, not a NASCAR fan and it was actually kind of entertaining.

greased my driveshaft and put on new exhaust stud bolts, seeing that I had literally 6 of 6 missing. I also have decided I will be a hermit working on my car, no more help from friends or family with the actual repairs, just maybe some diagnostics I will more than likely disregard completely, too much stupid mistakes.

New 70 mm idler pully. Stupid thing was bad when I did the front cover and waterpump. Just kept forgetting to buy one. Here is to one less strange noise under the hood!

It had better have been budweiser or busch.

It's NASCAR, you can't waste good beer on that.
