Enjoyed the morning offroading with some friends, sadly no other D2 (or Rovers for that matter) but had a great time all the same! Here are a few pictures from offroading today:

And though its not a rover, I was helping be a spotter while coming up a steep hill, since the D2 was the first one up!

Had a great time! When I got home I washed her off and gave her a coat of wax! Gonna miss driving her for a while, won't be able to because I'm having surgery on monday.

so today i went out to an off road life style event and did some laps on a short corse. I have to say the disco is surpassingly quick on a small tracks and was able to handle everything i could throw at it. I was even able to keep pace with a novice driving a raptor

I installed a rear ladder to my disco 2 which I found in my back storage shed which I had from a long time ago and forgot about. Bringing in the rover today to get the rear frame rails welded and reinforced. They are starting to rot through. Also getting my brushguard beefed up and an rust protective undercoating all for $400. What a deal!!!!!

Installed my Slick Rock Sway Bar Quick Disconnects, replaced my rear spring seats with D1 spring seats, and installed TerraFirma lower rear spring retainers.

Ho from Expedition Exchange was parting out the off-road hardware from his G4 DII, so I was able to pick these up for ~$80...

Just ordered oil pan gasket, Head gasket kit, and lifters. Going after the tick/knock.
