Was it the rotary coupler in the steering wheel?

Finally got all 5 Guard dogs in so tomorrow morning going to go get them mounted and balanced. Looking forward to being a happy treadwright customer again.

 

Do those treadwright patterns mimic others?
Are those guard dogs a copy of a name brand?

 

Yeah the Guard dogs are a copy of the Goodyear Wrangler MTR.

 

Just scored some 2004 roof rails for $60 on ebay in my own state. I'm freaking stoked. One of my goals is to basically convert my 2003 to an 04. Just need to add CDL and the 3D SE emblems!

 

It's been a busy month!
1) Replaced windshield and did some body work around the frame.
2) Pulled headliner to fix leaking sunroof drains, re skinned headliner.
3) rebuild driver side window motor.
4) Replaced passenger side door latch/lock mech.
5) Replaced rear door subs.
6) Replaced serpentine belt and a pulley.
7) Put in new LR 180 stat.
8) And today I replaced rear rotors and pads, plus 2 qt. brake fluid flush.

Next up is the bushings, I got the poly kit. I heard it's not the best but its all I can afford now.
I need a break from working on this for a bit I think.

 

Also I fixed a gas leak from the button that attaches to the intake. I had been smelling gas every time I parked the car for some time now and it had me worried.

Last time I replaced the headgasket my brother broke the green button on the fuel line and I had to replace it. I didn't use injector clamps and had the in such a way that it started to kink.

Spent most of the day yesterday repairing. Installed new hose and used proper injector clamps with a new button and so far no problems.

 

Wow I take it back. I won't be getting the 04 roof rails after all. Seller reneged on the deal because they listed the wrong price. They should still have to honor that if you ask me. I'm a little PO'd.

 

Who was the seller? Same EXACT thing happened to me on eBay. I was the only bidder and got the 04' roof rails for dirt cheap, then all of a sudden everything was cancelled!? I inquired what happened and was told wrong item was listed. Seems if they don't get the price they want for an auction they just end it early/cancel it. I ended up going to the junk yard and pulled a set of 04 roof rails myself for $20. Just installed them yesterday. Took a pic half way through...
