Scored a pair of 04' roof rails while at the U-Pull junk yard a couple weeks back. They are now prepped and ready for install (hope the spray on paint holds up). Figured, why not, since I have the headliner out...

I fitted new galvanised front shock turrets as the previous LR items were delaminating with rust at the base bolt down ring. The new turrets are the skeletal type and very heavy duty, but, bad design as they foul the inner wing so had to do some 'cosmetic' inner panel reshaping. Fortunately I'd fitted new TF shocks allround and front springs recently so everything came apart easily thanks to copper grease. I test drove the new TF shockers and new springs - wow, what a difference they make to the handling. You never realise over the years how far your truck deteriorates. Next job is the new engine and gearbox mountings.

Went up to Bald Mountain trail this weekend and had a good time.
Would this be considered trail damage or tree clearance?
It scuffed the alpine window but luckily didn't break it.

Figured out my ABS fault. It was painfully obvious to have missed...

Dropped the truck off again this morning for repairs. I had a misfiring cylinder and an air leak that I had no idea about. Turns out there a huge crack on the underside of the plastic duct that connects after the mass air sensor. So I had that replaced along with a new set of spark plugs and now it runs great!

Rebuilt front drive shaft ( thanks for all the posts on here, really makes it easy ) replaced right front hub with what I guess was a good used one, Amigos went off, yes!!! Anyone every bought one of the hubs selling off ebay for $120? I ordered one today to check it out and see what it's all about. Time to take the kids for icecream and then to the car wash to rinse her off.

. Suggest you start trying to do some of this stuff yourself, if you don't work on your own Disco you'll go broke paying someone else.
