I wasn't aware they had Discos w/o sunroofs.
Apparently base models with cloth seating could be purchased sans the present or future leaks and subsequent water damage. Few were available or sold due to typical marketing BS.

Wasn't limited to base models, apparently. No sunroofs on mine, though it has the gray interior and the upgraded Harman Kardon sound system.

Newest member of the family. Not running yet, but soon will be. Looking forward to getting it up and running.

Don't mind the headless tow truck driver...I blurred his face for anonymity, but ended up removing it.

Swapped out my rear cargo door lock actuator after finally having enough fun climbing over the back seats to unlock it. Pulled a good used one off an 04' at the junk yard for $11. Also while in the back cargo door I replaced the cargo door handle pull seal and added a newer Land Rover emblem. I could only find one place that sold these seals online "new" for $39 (+ shipping). Pulled a good used one for $2. And the new Land Rover emblem cost me $4.94. These u-pull junk yards are my therapy!

The truck I have has tan leather seats and the harmon kardon sound system. No sunroofs = no leaks. I just removed my cracked rear bumper cover and fixed it all up with q-bond. Stuff really works. Tomorrow I will be installing new ignition coils.

Decided to put a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's on the Disco. Contemplated the Atturo Trailblade M/Ts, but decided to go with an A/T tire instead. 255/55 19. Haven't put many miles on them yet, but they ride great so far on the highway with very little road noise. No off-roading yet.Name: WP_20151215_13_40_22_Pro_zpsrsnzlq3a.jpg

Also installed a rear wiper arm that my Disco didn't come with. I got one from Abran. Thanks!

Default Nutty Covers

Removed lug nut covers from all drive wheel nuts. Just about all of them had been buggered enough to make an emergency flat tire replacement impossible. Not the most attractive lug nuts but they are now functional until a new set arrives.
