Default No more amigos!

Finally got around to installing new abs sensor up front. Got it wired in- and it worked! No more amigos. Tested HDC function, works like a champ. Loving that.

Replaced all O2 sensors, MAF, coolant reservoir and cruise control actuator. Nice to have cruise control again and also not to see that service engine soon light anymore!

Nothing crazy today, just treated the door seals with some BMW rubber seal conditioner and fixed a rattle coming from the spare tire bracket. Yesterday I picked up some 265/75/16 tires and will have the parts for my lift sometime next week.

Had water pouring in the top of the rear door in the car wash so re-aligned it. No more leak. Also bypassed throttle body heater. No more leak.

Replaced the A pillar trim. It WAS giving me squeaking noise as the bottom clip was moving/rotating against the mounting point at speed.

It only took me 2 hours to replace this part. Longest two hours that I have ever spent on replacing a trim piece. What a major PITA to line up the top. You literally have to stretch the top part of the trim until you feel like you are about to break the entire thing and only then it will fit.

Rover engineer definitely weren't thinking when they designed this part.

Nice! Are those the interlocking sections? How many did you buy? Looks like 7 and you cut the front one in half?

Non-interlocking (only lock in along long side which is kind of misleading). Bought 4, used 3 full ones and 6" of the last one. They are 48" wide. so sit snug (with some minor notching) between the rack uprights when laid lengthwise across the roof, perpendicular to the cross members. Also notched the rear-most one so it extends onto the rear bar for support.

Trying to figure out what these open connectors are on either side of the firewall just under the hood hinges. Have an S series.
