Today this morning I drop my front end. I was installing wheel spacers and my disco slipped from the jack straight to the ground without the wheels. Jacked the truck up again with stand. Ouch!, nothing major but the thin metal plate behind the brake got bent. Lesson learned!

Yow!! Get yourself some axle stands!
Mine has been without the rear wheels for the past week; I had two stands under the axles and two under the chassis -- and even then I was still pretty cautious.

Holy! Jack stands for sure, man.

Finished making a mount for the air compressors, and upgrading the wires to 6 awg welding cable, and wrapped nicely in techflex

I lucked out that I happened to make my fridge cubby a couple months ago with the perfect sized overhang/lip to fit the compressors into

Getting close to finishing the solar panel slide. Have to add a lock and route the wires better

And water traps mounted

Thanks... I think.

Ironically, I never actually use the bottle opener... I just use the chef knife and pop em off. Much more satisfying

Replaced the starter on my 04 Disco. I was worried it would be a lot more difficult than it was. Took me about an hour or so and she cranks up strong now.

I also found out while I was under the Rover taking the lower starter bolt out that I have greaseable U-Joints! Which is awesome because this was next on my list to swap out.

So now grease them!

When you grease them (this weekend, right?) don't just pump the grease gun a couple of times. Keep pumping until FRESH grease exits each of the four U-joint bearing caps. Wear nitrile gloves and wipe off as much of the excess as you can. Done forget to also grease the shaft splines. And don't forget the rear shaft.

Let us know any questions you may have.
