Got 14 MPG on a 1200 mile round trip to get away from Irma this past week. Back to clean the mess in the yard.

Noticed the front fender bolts were rusting. Replaced with SS M6 1" bolts & washers. Next is to grease the driveshaft.

 

I bought a Power Probe III for $65 for electrical troubleshooting on my Disco.
I'm so used to using multimeters and oscilloscopes while in military for aircraft ground support equipment but I wish I had the PPIII to power up electrical parts without totally removing the part to bench check it with 12VDC.

 

I have one too but I honestly haven't even used it yet... I need to learn more about it... I always reach for the familiar multimeter instead.

Where did you get the calipers and bearings from and what are the part numbers? Cheers!

 

Hub/bearing part # is: TAY100060. You can get them all over the web, and they run the gamut of costs from really cheap ($70 aftermarket), to expensive ($400 OEM). The same part number fits all four corners.

Same goes for the calipers. Google them and you'll find them everywhere with the same range of pricing. Same calipers fit on D2's and P38's. Unlike the hubs, they are "handed" so if you don't buy a set (pair), make sure you're ordering a left and a right.
