fixed that "tube" from the wheel well to the airbox that rotted off. used corrugated pipe and electric tape but i may cover it once more in some more special heat tape.

i did that shift cover a few months ago. used the vinyl one from the ebay guy and it worked and looks great. cheap and fast too.

Replaced my screaming alternator with one from oreillys that is "100% guaranteed and pre tested". Ran a few errands around town to wind up in a parking lot with a dead battery. Got a jump from a good guy walking by and drove to oreillys with my gauges and lights going crazy.

After testing my battery to find it bad I forked over $100 for a new one and had them test my new alternator. 12.1 volts at idle, "pretested" my @ss! I had them order 3 this time that should be here in the morning, hoping 1 is good.

Oh yea I also was able to drive off 2 lug nut caps in my short time running today too.

Went out mudding at a field near my house after a good rainfall today. My wife was nice enough to brave the mud and get out and take a few pictures for me. She ended up making an instagram style collage of the pictures, but I really like it all the same.

Finally picked up the new brake light switch and installed it in my Disco. Started her up and the shifter shifted smoothly just like she used to - big sigh of relieve.

It was taken on a Canon Rebel T3i, if you happen to care about that sort of stuff.

I hate to butt in but I saw the canon comment and I gotta say I love my t2i and the t3 is even better, all the inners of a 7d for half the price. I was wondering how she snapped those amazing shots. Great job

I'm not much of a photographer type, but she is, and I know that she always says what camera she took each picture with, so I had to add that because I know it would make her Happy.

Forgot that you were photographer, even though its in your screen name.

I know jack about cameras, but we got the T3 from a friend who upgraded after using it for about 9 months. We saw them at the base exchange for 700+ and he only asked for 375 for the chassis (or body, I guess) and 2 lenses, so we jumped at the chance.
