Thanks. Would Loctite Blue be ok on the 308 side?

As for the valve cover side... is the baffle going to be in the hose or stuck in the valve over? I don't want to risk anything falling into the cover obviously.

The baffle will be inside the piece you pull from the valve cover. Pull it out of the valve cover and drill it out with a 5/16 drill bit or thereabouts. The "baffle" is what you are removing. All the plastic crap inside will fall out, leaving you with a hollow tube. Reinstall it in the valve cover. I pecked it in with the end of a hammer handle. Reinstall the hose. That end is done.
The fv308 replaces the plastic nipple on the intake end...
Simple. 10 minutes, tops.

Sure, cost 10x as much, but it will work ok.
