Default What do these codes mean!!??

I had the "service engine" lamp on and borrowed my freinds scan tool. It gave me three codes: 1 po102 mass air flow low imput, 2 po455 evap system leak, and 3 p1884 manufacture controlled transmission.
Anyone tell me what they mean?

What brand of air filter have you been using and how often have you been cleaning or replacing it, how many miles on the truck?
You will most likely need to replace your MAF, which will most likely make the 1884 go away. The 455 is a gross leak with the evap system that will need to be tracked down, but unrelated to the other codes.

Check youir gas cap and make sure that it clicks more than 3 times when putting it on, a loose gas cap can cause the EVAP leak.

the truck has 93k on it, i think it just has a napa air filter on it and looks clean. so you think a MAF will make the 1884 go away? why does it say "transmission"? do i need to use a OEM MAF or can i get a NAPA or Orielly?

If you researched the 1884 code you will find 8 versions of it, in your case the tranny will fault when a MAF has failed.
