Default What do you know about this lift kit?

Performance Shock & Spring Kit - Super Gaz - Front & Rear - 1.6" Lift

I was looking around on Atlantic British and saw this kit. Look like a deal. I know most people like the Old Man Emu kits etc. Is this kit too good to be true?

I doubt anyone here will advise you on getting that. Why not spend an extra $75 and go with what everyone knows and trusts? They even have a video on how to do it.

The Super Gaz setup is big in the UK, but for what goes into it, the OME holds up a lot better. Spend the extra few bucks and get the good stuff.

Ditto, get the OME, it will serve you better and you can pick between light, medium, H.D or extra H.D.
Don't forget to also order a steering stabilizer.

Good point about the stabilizer! It is a must. even if you are just replacing shocks.

I have ACE and the HD OME setup. Have had it for over a year with no issues at all. The only thing that bothers me is the tracking. It's difficult to keep the truck going straight and when taking turns you have to help it to center with the HD OME lift. I know the TruTracs will fix this issue, but it's more expensive than the lift was.

Ok, so is this a phenomenon characteristic of OME or is this something that will happen with any lift?

I have a 3" lift with ACE, doesn't effect the system at all. By the way, when was the last time you serviced your ACE?
Will you be adding 1 or 2 metal bumpers and or a winch, if not, the Medium duty OME along with the HD OME shock is a great way to go.
Not alot of lift, lots more control on and off the roads and a far better ride then what you currently have.
