What do you think of this craigslist steal?
Yes i know exactly how you feel, I've been searching for over a year for a black on black 04 Disco with no luck, I was convinced that no such combination existed.... I was amazed when I found this charcoal grey on black disco! All the more reason why I want to keep this truck for years and years.

Brag! Lol I wonder if your disco was one of those customer specific orders? All the black discos I've seen online have biege interior.
Well in any case keep her polished!

Mine is black on black and was originally a LRNA corporate vehicle. I kinda stumbled on it.
I had a 2004 Black on Black discovery... bought it at Cape Fear land rovers in North Carolina... looked great...... but it had its issues and so I sold it to carmax...Glad I kept my 2000 Disco... because i'm still driving it!! Good luck with your "New to You" Disco... its looks great....
Hi Triarii, I just joined the forum so it's funny to see this. I have the exact disco, 2004 SE grey/blk, trail edition, and I'm in Portsmouth. Only 70k on mine -- so far so good, I'm sure you'll love it.
On the aux lights, when I went for inspection I was told that technically they're supposed to fail you during inspection if they're not covered because those lights aren't street legal -- of course he didn't, no-one is that much of a jerk and I had the covers with me anyway.

FYI...These laws vary from state to state. For example, in PA the 100w lights on my rack are considered 'recreational lighting', so they don't care if they're covered...
True, but judging by his plates we're both in New Hampshire. Funny, for a state that makes seatbelts and motorcyle helmets optional, we're evidently tough on aux lights... oh well.
