What else?
Got the water issue fixed and on to the 130k service. I have two questions for the group:
1) Should I change the oxygen sensors while replacing the plug wires? and
2) How do I reset the 'Service Engine Soon' light without a scanner?
Working on an '03 Disco II SE with 128k.
As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

Why is the light on? Have you checked the codes to see what triggered it? After you have fixed the error that caused the light to go on, it will extinguish by itself within a certain number of predetermined drive cycles.
As far as the O2 sensors...it won't hurt as long as you go with OEM Bosch sensors. Other brands and universal sensors cause too many problems. I changed out my front sensors around 100k because I figured they were probably switching slower than new ones. Gas mileage might have improved slightly after that, but no conclusive numbers,

To try and answer your original question. You can try to disconnect the battery over night, that might reset your trouble codes. I think that you should get the codes read before resetting them though like the others have mentioned. Go up to autozone and have the codes read. They won't clear them for you though.
If you are trying to clear the codes to pass an inspection chances are it won't work. They will hook up a scanner and it will say "system not ready" and tell you to come back after the computer has cycled and had time to detect any faults.

Not that I have ever seen or rear about on a NAS D2.
Alright Gents, thanks for the replies. No, I don't have a scanner but was thinking of getting one. Once I know the codes where do I find out what they refer to? So, as electrically oriented as Rovers are, they don't have a service reminder light like Honda, Toyota, etc.? Seems weak.
Just Google them, they should pop up in the top few results.
To be honest, they're not that electronically advanced. It's just a 60's buick with 90s electronics. Excuse me, 90s British electronics.
