So I took another crack at this in daylight. Still looks like a no go. The cord strain relief if the bulb is seated will intersect the housing lip. As it is I cant even get it seated. BUT in this exact moment as I type, I realize the difference might be where my lights are adjusted for aim and if that adjustment moves the projector assembly in and out. If it goes in another 5mm + it might work.

I've started to hate LED headlights. They just don't work as well as normal types. I replaced mine with Osram Night Breakers recently. Believe they're part number 64193NL-HCB.

Honestly can't even give a review as I haven't driven at night in a while.

A few days late for this, but I'm also another auxbeam convert. I didn't get the eagle series though. I went with these: https://auxbeam.com/collections/by-s...-bulb-gd001666. They are 1:1 size with the halogens that the truck normally runs, with the same connector styling and everything. Was just like putting in a halogen bulb, plenty of room to spare. Made a video about it. My only suggestion is to make sure the headlights are angled appropriately afterward. One of mine (it was before too but it was the weak halogen and nobody cared) was angled way up and would have been a blinder for sure. I fixed that and since have had no issues with other people being blinded by the lights.

I noticed those on the Auxbeam site. How much better are they than stock? If you could provide a photo video that would be great. Another one I was considering is below. Does not have the pig tail and should fit based on the dimensions.

The best thing I have is the video we made:
. They are a lot better. Even my wife commented that it is like day and night the difference between the two. The ones I have are the exact 1:1 size of the old bulb and look the same for the connection. I did a comparison in the video as well.

The first minute or so of the video is the old lights on the garage, then a quick how they look to other cars, then me changing them, then around 14:30 it shows the lights actually working. I don't have anything from the cab (that would have been too smart) unfortunately.

Those M3 look like they would work as well.

FYI- there is a massive price discrepancy on the auxbeam website right now. If you go thru the auto selection process and you click on the H7 low beam, scroll down and you see a 4 piece H7 set for $42.99. When you put it into your cart the price jumps to $79.99 for 4 bulbs.

The 6500K seems very blue to me on paper. Most factory HID and LED systems were in the 5000K range.

Have any of you auxbeam converts thought they were too blue after using them for a while?

They just read as white to me, whereas the other filament bulbs appear yellowish. Maybe a little to the blue end f things, but I haven't done enough night driving with them to notice any downside.
