Default What level of urgency is this repair?

Changed the rotors and pads the yesterday (also used the Nanocom bleeding function for the first time and OMG what a game changer) and all looked great with the calipers except one dust boot that was ripped. Can this wait a month or so or does it need to be replaced asap.

@Brandon318 Depends that can get a lot of crap in there, in which case new caliper. But if it just the rubber out that is torn, I would put some brake grease in and duct tape over the rip until you replace it.

But personally just fix it, it is not hard just time consuming as you have to pull the caliper off again.

Only sort of important though, they're not like heated seats or bluetooth.

It's probably been like that over a year, what's another month?

In my world as soon as I know about it, if I don’t fix it, it completely fails.

Can’t go wrong with saying fix it ASAP can you? I’d let it go a month without if I had to though, it looks like it’s been like that for a long time. It’s not like you won’t have brakes but it may start sticking and not releasing well. The rubber is replaceable but I’ve found it a pain in the butt to do. I’d replace the whole caliper personally
