Default Brake caliper question

hello I have a leaking front left caliper and it’s causing a really mushy brake pedal. I’m thinking about replacing all the calipers as a preventative deal. I’m going to buy all the parts and either pay labor to repair or possibly do it myself.... my question is there are several manufacturers of calipers (OPparts, Eurospare, NuGeon) are these all good quality? Can you recommend one over the other?

Never used any of those brands (or heard of two of them)

I stick to either allmakes, wearever, cardone or raybestos. Brakes are not the place to go cheap.

I regret not changing to D110 calipers when I replaced my fronts. They are larger rotors and pistons and a bolt-on upgrade. You may need to replace the hard brake line from the bracket to the caliper because the position and angle of the input to the caliper is a bit different. That is a <$20 repair.

For the marginal cost, it appears to be significant improvement by all accounts.

Note: I say D110 because they use solid rotors while the D90 uses vented rotors.

I will only purchase calipers from OEM (not the garbage brand named 'OEM' - I mean the Original Equipment Manufacture) or NAPA.

If your caliper leaked you will need to replace the rotor and pads b/c the brake fluid has ruined them both. I know this b/c I went thru the same thing.

A reputable vender. Either you have leaking piston seals or the caliper halves. Neither are worth fixing. Vented rotors and the wider calipers for vented are listed down the page. One notch under D110 gear as far as stopping power.

Defender vs disco models not really a huge difference.

disco/defender vs RR brakes, that is a difference

Stick with the factory setup and get good parts.
