Default what model disco do i own???

ok!this may be the dumbest question ever on this forum but i own a 1998 land rover discovery, and i can't find the model at all! I searched everywhere and the only thing i can find is on the rear door it says V8i.. I have rear jump seats, cd changer under passenger seat, no chrome at all, and grill color matches car which is blue. Not really sure what else to look for..

SE7, I believe it is the only model D1 with rear jump seats. That's what I have. Same exact set-up (just different color).

You have a Discovery I SE7 or LE with extras.

Check this out to see the differences:

Hey thanks for that link of comparisons! That was really helpful, and showed stuff I had no idea about! I appreciate it

Rear seats and CD changers were options on the lower end models. Also leather seats. My 97 has no rear seats, no sunroof, no CD changer, but has leather seats.

Nope, I have a LE and it is a seven seater. If my memory serves me well you have in order of equipment/luxury/trim levels : SE, SE7, LE and LSE. There are also some special edition trucks such as XD etc. Those are for Discovery 1 which were sold from 1994 to 1999.5.

I don't have a clue about any of the trim levels for Discovery 2.
