Just received my fuel pump I ordered from auto sports unlimited and it does not match the one in the truck. I have an 00 DII and the one I recvd came from an 03. The difference is a small black plug with what I thought was a vent coming form it. I do not hace ACE and I just took out the SLS system. Just wondering what the diff is.

The ACE and SLS have nothing to do with the fuel pump.

 

sorry bad info on my part, both pics are the same, lol. Basically the new one does not have the connector to the right of the main white top, as you look at it. I talked with the guy at Auto Spec, and I guess I had my #'s wrong. I told him for an 01 and the part lists from 01-04, and I needed a 00, which is diff. New one is coming now and I am sending this one back, awesome. I love it when I am the problem

Sweet. Glad those guys are helping you out, they are great to work with.
I use them for most of my Rover and Volvo parts, and because they are on my route I dont pay for shipping.
I just go in and talk to Chris, he tells me when it will be in and then I swing back in and pick it up and pay for it.

 

Why are you replacing your fuel pump in the first place??
