Default What Winch for ARB Deluxe Bumper?

I got hit / hit someone else with my Disco and got a small dent in the front, I think the pic attached not sure, wish I took a pic of the other truck! I hit the other guy as he ran a red light but officer could not give him a ticket because couldn't be sure. My insurance is charging me a deductible $500 to fix and as of now it's not a total but it's close with the estimate so I'm holding my breath. They did buffer for $1000 of unseen/hidden damage and even with that it's not a total so hopefully they can fix it. Body shop took initial look and said it looks repairable

I did find a silver lining!!! Insurance estimated around $850 to replace brush bar and $620 for bumper. Which is about the same price as an ARB that replaces both. I talked to insurance and body shop and they are both okay with the upgrade. So now my question, anyone know what winch will fit in the ARB Deluxe Bar item 3432120? I'm leaning towards a Warn VR10000. I don't do the real fun stuff and get stuck a lot so I don't think I need the high grade/high price XD models. If there is a better winch for same or less cost I would consider it.

If it's a total I may be in the market for replacement but not sure what model, all I know is it will be a Land Rover.

I had an M8000 in the same bumper. I paid less than $500 shipped, but it had a steel cable.

"I" wouldn't buy anything until they get it apart, it could still total out once it is apart

I installed a Smittybilt XRC 8 which I bought for $280 delivered. I upgraded the cables, remote mounted the solenoid pack and added an HF remote I picked up for about $25 with a coupon. I've been pretty pleased with it. Not that fastest but it's worked well for me. They also offer waterproof versions with synthetic line for not much more. They come with a more powerful motor than many of the other Asian winches in this price range. I looked for a used better quality winch like Warn or Ramsey but had no luck so I went this route. No regrets.

you pays your money and takes your choice... Personally I like superwinch fitted the 10,000lb then got synthetic calbe as i don't like hauling steel cable or pulling it out.....

Every one has there favourite and every one has had problems with one winch or another. Personally I dont like Warn as I have had them fail on me in the past in winching compitions, with soleniods going and motors going out.....

Got info today that it has been declared a total loss, but still planning on putting a winch on the new rover so thanks for the input. I have my eye on some Disco II to replace mine but may switch to LR3.
