Yeah, they just used the left over tcases from the D1s on the early D2s until they ran out... which I thought was halfway through 2001?

I’ve personally seen 11/01 build dates with CDL’s it was the 01/02 and up build dates = nada until 04.

My 03 is a SALTY vin, so I don't think that aligns with having CDL. Of course I haven't felt up on the TC to verify.

Could someone post a pic of the "nipple" we are looking for on a CDL transfer case? Lots of tc picks on eBay, but don't know what I'm looking for...

there are dozens of threads on this forum with photos of the nipple.

i have an '03 with a salty vin and i have confirmed that it does not have the lockable output.
