What are your thoughts about tire ratings for BFG?
So, I've ordered my OME kit and will be fitting the BFG All Terrain 265/75/16.
Just got off the phone from a rep at Discount Tires and they said the BFG in 265/75/16 is rated in LT which requires 80lbs of air and is not recommended for our stock Discoverys.
The rep said it will be a hard ride with possible vibrations and humming. He also said these tires are for commercial pick up trucks.
So what are your opinions especially those who have installed 265/75/16? It seems like 265/75/16 are all rated LT.

Most are. Having a thin sidewall on a big tire makes it more prone to blowout and puncture. You can take a C tire and air it down on trails for better wheeling. Sounds like your tire guy doesn't want to balance them.
Most people go for the heavier load range because these trucks are 5.5k#. To heavy for a regular tire IMHO.
