Currently researching the possibility of purchasing a used Land Rover. Prefer the Discovery or LR2 or LR3. One of my concerns is the safety ratings and I can't seem to find any information on the internet. Many websites indicate that there is no rating.

I am new to this brand and seek advice from this forum. Can anyone share a credible resource online where I can find safety crash information?

Also interested in any advice on buying used...years to avoid, models to avoid, etc. Looking at anything built after the year 2000. Primary use is local driving and trips to Nantucket beaches.

 

have you tried consumer reports i would be surprised if they did not have the information you are looking for. Are you looking under the right heading, they should have catagories like truck, SUV, small tank.
