I've seen oil pumps fail in all years. Just tore apart an '04 with an oil pump that was dickered. 131k on the engine and it looked like it had been bad for some time.

I know I'm late and I apologize for the delayed comment but I'm sure you all know it is not smart to rush a purchase of any truck. Believe me I know how exciting it is to see a shiny truck with nice tires and an oiled up interior but that's what dealers do to attract the inner child in us all. No matter where you live you can get a great deal on a Land Rover. And when you buy a Land Rover you know very well the amount of money spent to purchase the vehicle is not the last penny you will spend on it even in the first few months.. These cars are amazing and with anything amazing in this world you will have to put in a lot of work and money. If you want a Land Rover anywhere I'll help you find one I have a lot of dealer resources. Used to be a dealer myself but went out of business. I hope you have a blast with your new vehicle but you should never think a car "finished" no matter who it came from. I'm sorry if the rant sounds like I'm raining on your parade. I just feel strongly about deals and rip offs. I wish you the best. If anyone needs a vin checked or needs to find cars I can help for the next year lol had prepaid for the dealer services lol. I'm not interested in making money off anyone here. Best wishes
