Default Wheel bolt pattern for DiscoII ?

I'm looking for plain steel wheels to mount on a 2001 Discovery and I need to know the bolt pattern. Is the bolt pattern different from the Series I? If the lug pattern is fairly standard in US, then I can find wheels, if not, where can I look?

the looking part I can help with. there is a list of parts suppliers in the forum. you can find it in the search. I don't know about the bolt pattern. call one of the suppliers and ask them to do a cross reference and see what they find. hope it helps, gotta love a rover. duboff

Howdy- I have good news and bad news.

Bad news: Disco II isn't the same as Disco I or early Landrover

Good news: It is the same as the P38A Range Rover (Came standard with alloys) , and the PCD (Pitch circle diameter) of the disco 2 is apparantly the same as the the Australian GM car "Commodore". ( Pontiac GTO ?) I presume the standard post 1990 GM cars PCD are the same

Bad news: The studs LR use are bigger than what GM use.

Good news: Find a cheap 15inch steel wheel from a wreckers (Post 90? ex GM car), drill out the bolt holes to what your Disco II studs are and do a trial fit. There is a bit of a difference in stud size, but when you do the trial fit, you'll see whether or the the offset is sufficient to clear the brake assemblies and guards. If so, get your local hotrod shop to make a set of steel wheels up using what you got as a template. Of course you then have to fit 15 inch tyres, but 15x30x10.5 fit OK without too much trouble.
