Question Wheel choks... Where ?

Hi.
Cannot remember where are the chocks kept; was it under the battery ? Where do they fit for storage ? Mine been in a garage corner for years; time to find their place.

Is there other use when not set up as chocks, or is it just to fit somewhere ?

The OEM chocks fit next to the jack in the battery compartment. Put Thu two points together and both slide into the recessed area where the standard bottle jack is stored.

Depends on whether you have a factory subwoofer in the rear gate or not. If not they are located in a bag with the lug wrench and jack handle in the same place the subs would be. If you do have a sub then they go up with the jack.

both my '04's have subs and the bins with the bag on the rear door.

is the bins or subs an early D2 thing? guess i'll check the '01 when the snow stops.

You could be right, I have never owned one with subs and was going by what I thought I remembered.

My 2001 with sub came with the bag with the chocks and (fairly useless) wrench.
For what it’s worth.
Wouldn’t have thought there was space for them up front, but will look next time I’m in there.
Oh wait, there won’t be... that’s where I keep a set of booster cables!
