Default wheel max load

what does the max load on a wheel mean? is that how much weight each one can handle individually? so as long as the combined max load of four wheels is more than the total weight of the vehicle its ok? or do i have it completely wrong?

Are you talking about the wheel or the tire? I have never seen anything stated about wheels before.

Yes, you are thinking in the right direction.
I wish I had information as to what our wheels will handle.
My concern is that yes, in theory, you could handle 8800 pounds but does that also mean is will take all the abuse from impacts, that we need for our Disco's?

I can't lay my hands on the firgures I stashed, but the Wolf wheels are rated at 2200kg.
The alloys less than that, but can't remember the figures.

The ones you are looking at are per wheel, unless they use some whacko non-standard rating method.
As long as two of the wheels can support the full weight of your rig, you should be fine.
