i just wanted possibly someone with more experiance with land rovers to help me out, not have all you hate on my ideas. and fyi. almost every land rover that drives off the lot has 22's on them.
this is ridiculous.

I have these Dyna Beads on all 4 of of my tires + spare and they do work well. There is not a lead weight on any of my rims. I like them and they seem to work well. I opted for these over the drop in powder that Expedition Exchage sells. Since that is sensitive to moisture and I thought it would not work well. I have Bridgstone Dueler AT /Revo 2's 245/70/16 on matte black powder coated 16" LR Typhoon rims. I have had this setup now for about 10,000 miles. Everything is smoother coming from the 18" rims and highway tires.
I do feel a slight vibration around 35mph when the centripetal force spins up the beads(yes I took Physics) to the outer wall of the tires. Its very slight, and does not bother me. Supposedly they are ceramic beads, if you get new tires they are worth the $50 extra. Stand there and watch your tire installer pour the bag in while he mounts the tire as I did. Ask him not to go crazy with the lube stretch the tire over the rim wall...as it can make the beads stick together. I tipped him well for being annoying.

The rest of us 60+ year olds with our "normal" wheels will be driving very slowly with our right blinkers on to the retirement center to play bingo. After that we'll probably head out for some shuffleboard, and maybe a game of bridge while we sip on some Arnold Palmer lemonade.
thanks for the advice. i think im going to get the new rims to make my mom happy and just keep those stock rims and the yokahoma's that are on em for when i go snowboarding and stuff. i dont go off roading very much at all because i live in the city.
Jake you can buy the wheel arches here.

Do let these guys get to you, Land Rovers were made to be taken off road and thats what most of us do and if you want big shiny rims then thats fine too.
Some guys like really big fat tires, some guys like big rims, others like the factory stuff, its all good.
Just make sure you take care of the truck and use premium gas just like it says in the owners manual.
