Looking to do some wheel spacers to get my turning radius back... How big of a spacer are you guys running? Any pics?

I bought mine here to get me some control back after going just a little taller on my tires. I think I went with 1.25". The price has gone up a bit. I think I bought mine on ebay, but from this same company.

Ooooo, I hate wheel spacers, they change the leverage moment on the wheel bearings and produce another 'weak' point IMO.

Tit for tat...spacers put more load on the bearings but gain stability. Which one is more important is a gamble.

How much stability do you need?

On d1/rrc/def you can replace bearings when they go bad, you have to replace the whole hub on a D2.

With that said I haven't seen a huge increase of stress or at least a recurring issue with the spacers we sell.

I run them on my car, but not on my Rover.

I run the same ones Bill does. 1.5" spacers from EZ Accessory. Got them used for dirt cheap, about $50 for all 4.
I understand the "more stress/leverage" argument but the fact is they don't put any more stress on the bearings than running offset aftermarket wheels. How many Jeepers and Rovers run aftermarket steel wheel with more offset? A ton. And there isn't an epidemic of premature wheel bearing failures. Yes physics supports the fact that spacers add stress but that increase just doesn't translate into real world failures.

I don't have a ton of pics of my truck straight on but here's one.

And the 315/75/16's still stuff.

It's also nice that my rims sit flat like they are supposed to instead of on the bolt heads and a bit crooked.

Nice space savers you're running there Brett

Thanks for the info and pics guys, I think Ill go with the 1.5" spacers. Not looking to have any crazy wheel poke, just a slightly more aggressive stance, and no tire rub.
If anyone has any pics with the spacers just sitting on flat ground (not flexing) I would appreciate it!
