Default Where do these 2 dang green wires go?

I can't remember for the life of where where these 2 green wires go!!! They don't have any connectors on them except for the open hole. I would think it could be a ground but it's not black. Somebody has to remember where they go. It's driving me nuts.

If memory serves they go on the 2 rear fuel rail bolts. They are attached like a ground. Hopefully someone else will chime in though.

Yep, they're grounds and they attach to the rear of the heads.

As in most wiring colours, green and/or green/yellow are usually earthing grounds in 99.9% of cases.

I don't have those either. Funny. It looks like you have an engine ground strap as well.

The bolts on the rear of the heads have pretty large eyelets, so if the wire terminals are too small, I'd guess they go on the coil pack mounting screws. Those are the only other bolts in that vicinity I can think of

I got concerned about those green wires when you asked. Good to know that some dont have them too. I checked all my install pictures and cant find them.

Yea it has the engine ground strap on the drivers side. I figured they were grounds but couldn't for the life of me remember where they went. I was thinking fuel rail or coil pack but figured somebody might remember where they go

Those are just ground wires for the injector harness.

I thought everyone had them. Hmm. I've had them on three harnesses/Engines (both 4.0 and 4.6). Just lucky I guess.

In the Atlantic British video on changing the valve cover gaskets, they note that some trucks have two, some have one, and others have none.
