Where do you take your used oil?
Anybody ever have problems with getting rid of your used oil?
I'm thinking of doing my own oil changes. This allows me to control the components that I
put in, plus, the savings.

It seems like it's getting harder to get rid of it. The gas station I used to take it to started charging me. Now, I just take my old oil and the filters to the county dump. They have a recycling program. I can store about 5 gallons or so in containers and then take it out there. I even recycle the oil filter boxes.
A few years back, I had the same experience of gas stations giving me a hard time taking the used oil. I think the gas stations would rather have them
do your oil change, but if they don't offer the type of oil I like, I'd rather do it myself. I heard it is big business recycling the old oil.
