Default Where does it end??

1997 DISCO 1. Installed new springs and shocks on the rear now disassembling rear hubs. Got the rotor off the hub and removed bearings, bearings look great might just regrease. Is there any reason to knock the inner bearing races out of the hub. My thoughts are leave them in there but replace the inner bearing seal. Then I have my half shafts or half axle shafts whatever pulled out and my hub off which leaves me with the stub axle. Apparently there is a seal in the back of the stub axle that seals on the half shaft to keep oil in the axle. My other question is should i take these six bolts out while i am there and replace that seal and the gasket on the mating surfaces or am I going deeper than I need to

What exactly are you trying to do?
Are you just repacking the wheel bearings or is there some other project that is going on?

Just finish what you were originally trying to complete. If they're not leaking don't worry about it. Finish it up and have a beer.
