Default Where does the O ring go on PAS high pressure inlet

Does the O ring just go like 1/4" in on the fitting - on the outside of the little flange? Seems logical... also, once it's on there is there any trick for re-installing the fitting or do you just "push it in"

When we replaced ours the o-ring went on a recess portion of the inlet pipe. A word of caution, we found the inlet pipe was longer than the pipe we replaced and ended up cutting a small portion off the the new inlet pipe.

The new pipe would not seat pass the o-ring until we had remove a small amount from the tip of the new pipe.

Not sure why this was the case and we triple check the part numbers.

Another tip is if you live in a salting state to paint the pipe before installing to give some protection against the elements.

The o-ring goes on the tube, on the side of the flange closest to the end.
