Default Where does this wire go????

Hello all,

I was topping off some brake fluid in my disco when i noticed I wire with what looks like a yellow 3 prong plug on the end of it plugged into nothing. It is connected to the wire harness attached to the master cylinder resevior cap. I looks like lt should plug into somethig underneath the master cylinder. I have no idea and nothing jumped out at me as to where this might go. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Todd

Why are you topping off your brake fluid? Do you have a leak? If there are not leaks in the system, I suggest a quick brake inspection. Chances are your pads are wearing down and need replaced soon. The fluid that WAS in your reservoir went some where.

I think I do have a leak but it appears that it is coming directly from underneath the resevior. I have an master cylinder repair kit on order. In the mean time...... topping off the brake fluid. But this prong/plug is what I am wondering about

There should be a harness for it to plug into right around there, it might be tucked up under something.
