Does anyone know where this seemingly cut wire leads? My 3 Amigos lit up during a ball joint repair but that shop couldn't read Disco ABS codes. I found a shop that could and they discovered this cut wire besides the ABS modulator.

The codes they pulled were:

- Pump failure 1 (monitor line)

- Pump failure 3 (pump sticking)

- Shuttle Valve Switch failure

I hadn't encountered any issues before the ball joint repair, so this is a first for me.

Any thoughts?

Does plug look like this? You may have to photo the end and tell us color of wires inside. This is power to pump.

 

I just looked on my truck and the cable runs directly to the ABS sensor at the wheel. I'd be paying another visit to the shop pronto. Let us know how this turns out, please.
