Where to find good wiper blades
#11
I just bought some "Land Rover specific" blades off the 'Net that were supposed to be for the Disco II. The blade I put on the passenger side doesn't wipe over half the windshield! Talk about waste of money. It's like it doesn't even touch the glass for the inner half or something when it's in motion. Anyway to fix that, or should I try the D1 swap? How much is the D1 swap kit, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I went with the AB DI conversion. The arms have a lot better spring holding more pressure on the blade to the windshield.

I always say to just break the proprietary plastic land rover sh*t and buy yourself a machine screw with a nyloc nut for each side. Youll also have to bend the little tabs on the arms back about 45 degrees. Get yourself the $3.88 WalMart blades too. The Michelins you see in this picture were like $18 each and lasted me 6 months before they needed replacing. The WalMart blades I have used twice. The first set lasted me over a year and the current set I'm about three months in and they're still perfect.

Agreed with the Walmart $3 blades. I started using them last winter. They are the greatest value when it rains so much here during the Pacific NW winters.
