I went to two local auto parts stores, and both times was told by the staff that they have never seen the type of attachment my 2001 Disco has for the blades. Do you have to go to the dealer to get new wipers?

 

No, you can just change the rubber on it, it's pretty easy, just snap one of the wipers off to take into to compare the length...

 

Yeah, if you want to do the whole assembly, you'll end up spending nearly $40 each. You can replace the rubber pretty easily, though.

 

check the book for the brand you want and get the refills. some people at parts store are scared of rovers. If you need the assembly there is a list of parts supplier on the forum, run it thru the search. there are lots of places. advanced auto is where i get mine. they have a computer gadget to help you with the choices they have on hand. For some good deals on parts e-bay motors has surprised me. Hope it helps. gotta love a rover. duboff

 

Wall-Mart less than $5 each. Rubber and frame. Works like a charm. The have a book that you can the sizes from too.
