The wipers on my 2001 Disco seem to be acting funny...Is the expected behavior supposed to be that they take 5 minutes to start working? This seems fishy to me...I have also noticed that they do not start working unless I am moving forward. What's going on here??? Is this a luxury item I don't kniow about?

Turns out the fuse for the wiper was bad or something. I replaced all the fuses and I have seen no problems...Yes, you do gotta love a rover!!!

 

I would not have guessed that.
