I have heard nothing but good things on this forum and others about his work, would find it hard to believe that the drive shafts only work for one application but will keep an eye on it...

I will be using it for both a DD and some off-roading which is why i chose him.

That's what I have heard too. Great for off-road/around town driving but highway driving blows.

OK so put the DS on this weekend and took it on a 200 mile jaunt...

I can definitely feel the difference with the new DS, seems to perform pretty well. I have slight vibration around 30mph but it goes away as speed increases.

On the highway the vibration is intermittent, its nothing major but I can feel something. I had her at about 80-85 for a good bit and seemed to come and go. Any chance that me putting this new DS on has brought forth another issue?

I still have the whining sound it shows up when the car heats up...any ideas?

Not that type of whine...it sounds like its coming from underneath the front of the car...I was thinking maybe a wheel Hub or Diff? I changed the fluids in both Diff about 1,00 miles ago and the TC as well, no metal on the magnets (just normal goo). Do the hubs go bad on these and what are the symptoms?? Any way to identify it?

Bad hub would be a squeaking sound? You would also most certainly notice it at low speeds.

Anything lose or binding?

Maybe get some video of the sound and youtube it?

Yeah I can't really hear much and what I do hear I get on mine too so I think you are ok. **Disclaimer: That doesn't mean I am right. Mine could be about to blow up for all I know.**
